Ingurtosu, South Sardinia.

The villa La Magnolia is located amidst the lush greenery of the old mining village of Ingurtosu, part of the municipality of Arbus, Province of South Sardinia.

How to reach Ingurtosu and the B&B La Magnolia
  • from Cagliari / Elmas Airport: take the SS 130 towards Iglesias up to about 15 Km, then turn right in the direction of Villasor on SS 196; continue signs to Villacidro, then Gonnosfanadiga. After crossing the village of Gonnosfanadiga, turn left onto the SP 67 towards Arbus. In the town of Arbus follow the signs for Ingurtosu. At about 8 km after Arbus, at Sa Perda Marcada turn right taking the SP 66. Alternatively, take the SS 131 towards Oristano, turn taking the exit for San Gavino Monreale / Guspini and take the SS 197, after a few km turn left to Gonnosfanadiga and continue as above.
  • from Olbia / Sassari / Alghero: take the SS 131 towards Cagliari, Oristano overcome and take the second exit for Uras / San Nicolo. Through San Nicolo and continue to Guspini and then for Arbus. From here follow the signs for Ingurtosu. At about 8 km after Arbus, turn right and walk the last 5 km up to Ingurtosu.

Once in Ingurtosu passed the obelisk dedicated to Lord Brassey, placed source the imposing steps of the Church of Santa Barbara, turn left onto the dirt road. Continue past the building of the former hospital of the mine until the wrought iron gate on the left. You have arrived at the Bed and Breakfast La Magnolia!
